Friday Jul 24, 2020
My friend, Esther Trneny, shares her experiences as an immigrant in the U.S. We discuss how the U.S. is viewed by people in other countries, immigration policies and the requirements for becoming a citizen, the unfair treatment of immigrants and how racism plays a huge role in the way immigration is viewed, and maybe a little hope for the future. And the border wall...that stupid goddamn wall.

I'm so happy you're a part of today's America, Esther. We need more people in the USA building a legacy of empathy and acceptance. 2016-2020 has felt like a Twilight Zone to me. I've often thought citizens of other countries must believe Americans are all deplorable and ignorant; even though it feels good to get the validation they do, it also makes me a little sad. There are good people between America's E & W coasts, but the bad tend to make more noise and get more attention. 👎
